Custom Clothing: Photographer's Vest

This may look like just any other field vest, but it's actually the perfect photographer's vest. The client had a vest with the perfect pocket configuration that was wearing out. We updated the size of the vest and recreated the original with a few modifications out of a nice 4-ply Supplex nylon. There are 11 pockets located both outside and inside the vest. Here's some great feedback:

The vests arrived today. Wonderful work! You are a pro sewing goddess. Here's a brief report, with additional to come later, after I put it into use on a test run… The vest design fits perfectly, so much better than the old version. I don't miss the front zipper, or some of the things that the old one had, as we discussed. I find the pockets, flaps and gussets so well designed and formed. Your reverse engineering and the neatness & precision with which you did all the extensive sewing is amazing. The new vest feels sleeker, more streamlined than the old.... This is an impressive work of art (and of many hours labor) to match the vest that has served me for so many years.... [We] are "blown away" with your handiwork on this little garment. It's obvious why the many extra hours were necessary for a project of this type, all the odd-placed pockets, the extensive sewing maneuvers required, with tucked-away details so faithful to the original. Once again, good work, Kerry! You're an accomplished garment artist and surgeon. We also like your personal label, with your byline and the slogan, "One of a kind garments."
